WHO IS DALL?Dallas Association of Law Librarians (DALL) is a chapter of the American Association of Law Libraries (AALL). First started in 1976 and then later formed as a chapter of AALL in 1982, DALL is a professional association for law librarians in the Dallas area. As a non-profit organization, DALL works to promote law librarianship, develop and increase the usefulness of law libraries, cultivate the science of law librarianship, and to foster a spirit of cooperation among the members of the profession. DALL meets regularly from August through May. Meetings are balanced between educational webinars and social networking events. Today, we have almost 60 members from firm, county law libraries, law schools, government law libraries, vendors, and students. | \ As you have read in the recent newsletter, the Board decided in early 2025 to consolidate our platforms, such as membership, website, web URL, newsletter, member forums, membership payment, and other important DALL documents into one platform. This platform is called Wild Apricot, and our new website URL is https://dall.wildapricot.org. IMPORTANT: Membership payments will no longer be processed through PayPal; instead, members can now use credit cards directly on this platform. Here are the instructions on how to create your own login. To create your own login, you will need to visit https://dall.wildapricot.org/. Click LOGIN and Forgot Password. You will receive an email directing you to change your password and update your profile. Note: To pay for more than one individual enter everyone you wish to pay for in the “Members Name(s)” box before selecting “Pay Now”. This will take you to the payment page, where you can update the quantity to accurately reflect how many individuals you are paying dues for in your organization. Additionally, you can add the individual’s names near the bottom where PayPal provides a place for you to “Add special instructions to the seller.” Reminder! Membership dues are collected between June 1-September 1, 2025.
